1969 - 5th Finance commission proposed based on the recommendation NDC

Benefits - more central funds and tax concessions

Q.Which status got it
Assam, Nagaland and J & K were the first to get it.

Q. Criteria  to get Special Category status

   1. a lot of hilly terrain
   2. economic and social backwardness and lack of infrastructure
   3. a large tribal population
   4. international borders
   5. non- viable nature of finance

Now Changed -

14th Finance commission has asked government to stop Special category states
because it has suggested to share 42 % of taxes.

CSP Exam 7th Aug 2016

Best of luck to all the aspirants who are appearing in CSP-2016 on 7th Aug.

Be calm and focus on your last minute revision. You never know these last two days might fetch you 5-6 marks more. so just be positive and keep away from all the negative thoughts.
Be very careful about various speculation about exams , these may hamper your exam, best you can do is to keep away or don't think about any speculation.
Just go with fresh , calm and positive mind and give your 101 % for exam.
If your preparation was honest and you were consistent you will definitely excel in exam.
there may be some luck factor but please don't consider it as your main positive or negative point.

Once you come out of exam hall at 4:00 PM, just relax. Don't indulge in unwanted speculation or bogus propaganda by various institute about cut-off and other irrelevant thought at this point.
Just watch some movie or listen to music or play for some time  to keep-off the huge burden of CSP from mind.

Once your mind is free, please take your exam paper and research or try to find out all the answers yourself in spite of waiting for answer key from some Coaching Factory.
This way you will find all right answers by yourself and also learn some of the new facts which you have not read earlier.

From Monday start preparing for CS Mains exam :) Don't waste a single day to relax.
If you get through CSP 16 , you will find study more helpful otherwise you will prepare for CSP 2017. Its a win-win situation in both the conditions.
